A fourth rate of some kind should always be in a player's docks who plans on attending Port Battles but may not always want to risk the really expensive boats. This is one of the staples for port battles and port flips. The San Fernando is one of the largest, heaviest 4th rates. She doesn't Sail to windward as well as an Alexander, but has enough armor and hull integrity to sail in the main battle lines -- and the firepower to be a capable match. Her size makes her handle more like a lineship and she is a more cost effective choice if you can't afford a 3rd rate or better.

INDOMITABLE 1ST RATE
Considered by many veterans to be the best overall First Rate Ship of the Line, the Indomitable has a less powerful broadside than the Victory First Rate but makes up for it in maneuverablility and a faster reload time. The model for the Indom is also smaller than some other first rates which makes it easier to block if in danger during combat. Affectionately referred to as the "Windom" by admirers, this powerful war machine is the practical Naval Officer's flagship of choice.
